Microarray technology has demonstrated the power of high-throughput approaches to unravel key biological processes. Oligo-DNA microarrays are gaining importance due to the number of genes contained on each microarray, easier management of the system, and a greater dynamic range in the evaluation of expression levels. We developed a 60-mer oligonucleotide Agilent microarray representing 21,522 probes by using the transcript sequences (11,422 contigs and 18,214 singlets) in this database.
